Tiffen Black Pro-Mist comes in a 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8. The 1/8 is less intens and the 1/2 is the most intens. I bought 1/4 and it's the one I would recommend to begin with, the others have either too much or too less of the diffusion effect in my taste.. If you want to use it more for daily photos then probably go with the 1/8, but the 1/4 can.. We had a 1/8 density and that worked well for our use (talking heads/early streaming to phone days; travel video). We didn't want the video to look edited or the use of the filter obvious. If I were to get one, it would be slightly higher density, 1/4. But if you like the effect, get a higher density. Also, look at the Black Pro Mist Filter.
